Most Worshipful Masonic Grand Lodge of Washington
WA State Legislature Resolution Honoring Freemasonry
Freemasonry Books (Amazon.Com)
Petition for the Degrees of Freemasonry
Tradition has it that in ancient times,
Masons met on the highest hills and in the lowest vales to guard
against the approach of eavesdroppers and to secure the secrets of the Craft.
Today Freemasons meet
in well-marked Lodges and Temples. Some of these buildings are owned by the
Fraternity, while others
are owned by others outside of the Craft with space for Lodges to meet being
rented by the Brothers.
The building where Yelm Lodge #244 now meets is not owned or maintained by Freemasons.
Space for the Lodge room is rented by the Brethren that they may have a place
to assemble for their work.
Some may ask: what then is a Lodge?
The ancient charges answer "a lodge is a place where Masons assemble and
work."
What is their work?
Whatever tends to benefit mankind, whatever tends to its elevation,
whatever is promotive of human progress in all its
phases, is true Mason's work.
We invite all Brother Masons to join us in Lodge on the first Tuesday
of the month at 8:00 PM.
Brethern Take Due Notice
Please join us for dinner at 7PM on the first Tuesday of every month, and then join us at our stated meeting at 8PM.
